My bestie will be here in May and my goal for my house is to have FINALLY carried out my plan to turn this couch:

Reasons why I have yet to carry out this year old plan:
• Laziness
• Found out it's "pecan wood" -don't really know if this should matter. but. whatever. thoughts?
• I have no where to paint it!! I'm thinking of making a "kill room" (Dexter!) and just plastic-ing off the whole room. I fear dog hair getting in the paint, and killing our lungs..
• My walls are yellow, and I've been planning on painting them white first.. again, laziness!

I'd love to hear your thoughts and ideas.. I know the couch that I want mine to look like is natural wood, but I'd like to get the effect by painting it a mustard color, or white. I think mustard would be good -I just don't want it to look shabby. Hm.

I WILL get this done! And I will post every bit of it =)
